A general support gift is the most strategic form of giving. It allows us to apply your generosity to where it is most needed.  The Art of Dying Institute prides itself on transparency and a full disclosure of its expenditures.


The Art of Dying Institute is a collaborative initiative that partners with front-line organizations, associations, hospitals, hospice facilities, universities, and specialized groups focused on end-of-life care, bereavement counseling, working with the dying, alternative funerals, music thanatology and more.


The Art of Dying Institute is determined to make assessable the highest quality of educational programming and advanced trainings to as many people as possible. Our state-of-the-art educational and certification programs offer a thoroughly unique perspective on and engagement with an integrative, holistic, spiritual, practical and scientific approach to death and dying. Our programs are designed for nurses, counselors, psychologists, social workers, chaplains, policy analysts, caregivers, those who have or are currently confronting mortality – their own or another’s, and the curious.

Individuals, families, groups, foundations and corporations can designate named scholarship funds that enable and empower practitioners and lay people with a transformative understanding and skill set to advance their professional career and individual capacity


The Art of Dying Institute encourages gifts that honor, name and offer legacy to those who mean the most to you. Individuals, families, and groups take advantage of the opportunity to give in honor and memory of loved one.


Family philanthropy is a valued investment that unites loved ones around a shared interest. It creates lasting bonds gained through the experience of collective assessment, decision-making, and commitment to a shared cause. It is also fun. Some ways in which families invest include general support; designated support of a project; named scholarships; and family foundation giving.


Foundation support is a valued and important investment in the Art of Dying Institute. We work with work public, private and family Foundations to identify mission and portfolio synergies with our initiatives and identified needs in end of life care, aging, and death and dying field.
